Philippine Mango Tree
The Philippine/Carabao Mango Tree is the #1 mango in the Philippines. Grown at a huge scale and for good reason. The tree has grown well her in California with little problems. With a kind of spreading growth habit but controllable it can be a good choice for many. Producing after its 3rd year we have one of our own and it has given delicious fruits.
The fruit is small with and oblong shape and turns a nice shade of yellow when ripe. Being completely fiberless with a juicy flesh you can eat multiple and still want more. With a kind of honey taste making it very popular it has become a tree a lot of people wouldn't mind having in their back yard for more mango!
