The P-22 Mango Tree is a newer Zill variety. With an upright growth patter and an open canopy it has done very well here in California. Growing very vigorously and robust it is great for those looking for a bigger tree. Flowering and fruiting quite well it is a variety we definitely recommend for California.
The Fruit is of excellent eating quality! with a fiberless flesh and an Indochinese flavor similar to that of Mahachanok and zinc mango. It has a more round shape and a light color.
