Fwang Tung Star Fruit/Carambola

The Fwang Tung Carambola tree is A beautiful and aesthetic tree. With a very tropical look it can be the perfect tropical addition to any garden. Not only is it attractive but it is a great producer. Taking the climate in California quite well it has behaved well for us and all of our customers. 

The Fruit is medium with a bright yellow and orange color(when ripe). With a crisp and crunchy but extremely juicy flesh it is a wonderful fruit to munch on. Unlike the other varieties it is a bit sweeter with a more mild taste. Making it more popular with those who have tried it.  Slicing the fruit gives the pieces a star shape hence the name. Also packed with vitamins and fiber this fruit is underrated.
