Zill Mango Tree
The Zill Mango Tree is a very vigorous tree with good production habits. Having very little problems growing here in California and is not very common here. With a kind of spreading growth habit and open canopy this tree is one of the few first varieties to touch Florida. It is an earlier season mango which is a great thing as there aren't many of those
The Zill mango goes through some different phases before maturity. First green then right before it ripens it becomes a purple then turning into an attractive shade of red when ripe. With a fiberless, soft, and juicy flesh it is enjoyable down to the last bite. It has a classic taste with hints of peach and pineapple. The fruits are small but they make up for it in quantity.
